Automatic Sync
Responsemate polls your configured SharePoint files on a regular schedule. When a file changes, the knowledge base source is updated automatically — without any manual re-upload.
Citation Integrity
When a file is updated, the old version is archived and a new source record is created. Past questionnaire answers continue to reference the version they were drafted against.
App-Only Authentication
The integration uses Azure AD application credentials configured by your admin. No individual user tokens are stored, and access is scoped to the specific sites your organisation permits.
How it works
- Configure once — An admin registers an Azure AD application with the required Microsoft Graph permissions, enters the credentials in Responsemate settings, and adds the SharePoint sites to connect.
- Browse and import — Team members browse document libraries or search by file name, select the files to add, and import them into the knowledge base with one action.
- Sync automatically — Responsemate checks each imported file on a configurable schedule. When SharePoint reports a change, the updated file is downloaded, indexed, and replaces the previous version in the knowledge base.
- Use in questionnaires — Imported SharePoint files are available to every AI agent alongside your other knowledge base sources, deduplicated and always up to date.
