One questionnaire, start to finish, at a fictional company

Lyngmark Energi is the fictional company inside our demo workspace. This is a Tuesday at Lyngmark: a customer's security questionnaire arrives, and by Thursday it has gone back. Every screenshot on this site comes from that workspace.

Tuesday, 09:10. The file arrives

A customer's procurement team sends Anna, who coordinates security questionnaires at Lyngmark, an Excel file: four sheets, 214 questions, the answer column empty, a deadline next Friday. Anna drops the file into Responsemate. The import reads all four sheets, finds the question column and the answer column on each, and shows her the questionnaire with the customer's own numbering and headings. She sets the deadline and adds two colleagues to the team.

Tuesday, 09:25. Drafts with sources

While Anna reads the customer's instructions, the questions fill with drafts. Each comes from Lyngmark's knowledge base: the information security policy, the incident procedure, the sub-processor list, two completed questionnaires from the spring, and the pages of the company's own trust center. Every draft shows the sources it was built from and a confidence mark: 131 High, 58 Medium, 25 Low or without a source.

Tuesday, 10:00 to 12:00. The review

Anna works in confidence order. The High drafts she reads quickly and approves in batches; three she shortens with the tool on the cell. The Medium drafts she reads properly; most are right, a dozen need a fact she adds from the source shown. The Low drafts and the ones without a source are the real work: fourteen go to Jonas on the infrastructure team ("please answer the questions about the new backup setup"), five go to legal about the customer's data processing addendum, and six she answers herself from memory and marks for a colleague to validate.

Wednesday. The colleagues

Jonas opens the questionnaire, sees his fourteen questions, answers them in the cells with the sources he knows, attaches the log from last quarter's restore test to the backup question, and marks them done. Legal answers its five. The AI assistant, asked "which questions still have no source", lists the six Anna answered from memory; she attaches the relevant policy pages to four and leaves a note on two.

Thursday, 11:00. Export

Every question is approved. Anna exports: the customer's own Excel file comes back with all four sheets, the customer's columns, and the answer column filled, plus the attached evidence in a folder. The approved answers are read back into the knowledge base, dated today. The dashboard adds the questionnaire to the count and the hours saved.

What it cost, and what it made

Anna's time: about three hours across two days. Jonas and legal: an hour each. The next questionnaire from a similar customer will draft from 214 newer answers, and the questions that were Low this time, mostly about the new backup setup, are now in the library with Jonas's answers and the test log attached.
